Help on the presentation,
documentation, and packaging of your applications
Presentation of your application
Please ensure that:
1) All applicants' personal
details are input correctly
Please check the personal details input on
Caseflow are correct and match your client's identification
documents (eg passport), including name spelling,
address (ie it matches your client's current
correspondence address) and date of
birth.
Discrepancies can cause problems later on
during the application process, and if the case has to be rescored
this may affect their lending decision.
2) All
employer/accountants' contact details are complete and
correct on Caseflow before submitting the
case
3) All of an applicant's
financial commitments are disclosed on
Caseflow
Remember any joint commitments should only
have the balances input against applicant 1.
4) All income is
input
5) Your intermediary details are
complete and up to date

Packaging your application
1) Always send in clear (certified) copies of all documents
requested
For further guidance on ID verification please
see our identification of
the customer lending policy section.
2) Always use a C&G fax
header sheet when faxing documents to us with the applicant's name,
postcode and account number clearly shown

3) Please send in the documents
required within 48 hours of submitting your case (ensuring they are
certified copies, where necessary):
- Proof of ID or
Identity Verification Certificate (IVC not
acceptable for first-time buyers). Please ensure you read our
identity verification
criteria for full details.
- When using a current UK driving licence
as proof of ID the counterpart licence is not acceptable on its
own.
- When using a current UK full passport please check that it has
not expired
- Signed direct debit
mandate
- Certified income documents as
requested under 'tasks' on Caseflow. 'Tasks' can be found
on the 'decision' and the case summary pages of C&G
Caseflow.
The quicker we receive the documentation the sooner we can
process your case.
4) If we require
employer/accountants' references, please ask your client to make
their employer/accountant aware that the request will be
coming through to them.
