Mortgage Decision in Principle and Application Form

For applications you are unable to submit on C&G Caseflow (Offset mortgages, Ported products, Homeowner Loans and customers with foreign bank accounts), please download the C&G Mortgage Decision in Principle and Application Form below. If you are unsure whether an application can be submitted on C&G Caseflow, please contact your Business Development Manager or the Intermediary Processing Helpline on 0845 709 0878.

The C&G Mortgage Decision in Principle and Application Form is divided into two parts to enable you to obtain a decision in principle for your client if you want to before completing the whole form.

If you would like to use the decision in principle service, simply complete the first part of the form (sections 1-6) including the intermediary details page and fax it to the Intermediary Processing Team - Barnwood on 0845 600 2364. They'll get back to you as soon as a decision is made. Your client will need to have read and signed the consents and declarations before you send it to us. You will then need to complete the rest of the form
The second part (sections 7-14) asks for the information needed to process a full mortgage application
If your client does not require a decision in principle, complete the whole form (sections 1-14) and send it with the Mortgage Application Fees form to:

Please ensure that credit card details are entered on the ‘Mortgage application fees’ form and not on the ‘Mortgage Decision in Principle and Application' form.

The Intermediary Processing Team - Barnwood will send you an acknowledgement letter and a copy of the booklet 'C&G Mortgages - making the right choice' for every full mortgage application they receive. Please ensure your client has access to this booklet as it contains important information about how C&G mortgages work.
