Identity Verification Certificate (IVC)
For employed and self-employed applicants this depends on the
bureau score. Confirmation may not be required subject to the
individual merits of the case. For first time buyer applicants,
certified copies of the identification taken are always
required.
One applicant one form of ID - If your client can provide one of
the following documents for each applicant there's no need to ask
them for an additional form of ID.
- Current UK Full Passport or
- Current UK Photocard Driving Licence (full or provisional) -
counterparts remain unacceptable on their own
(If the above cannot be obtained, existing money
laundering/identity confirmation rules apply)
We like to make things easy for you and our Identity
Verification Certificate does just that.
If we accept the IVC we may request further copies of ID.
