Changes to our further advance applications
When applying for a further advance, we will now be making
additional checks to confirm the way in which customers have
conducted their existing LTSB/C&G accounts, including mortgage
accounts, personal loans and credit cards. These checks will
identify any defaults which have occurred.
Where there has been default, each case would then be
individually assessed to identify reasons for default, and a
lending decision will be made accordingly. It is unlikely that
cases will be agreed where customers have not made 6 clear monthly
payments.
Declined cases cannot be appealed and are subject to our usual
fees policy.
