Payment Protection Plus – (PPP)
Lloyds TSB General Insurance currently offers Accident &
Sickness and Unemployment cover under its Payment Protection Plus
(PPP) product.
As from 21st March 2010 we are withdrawing
this product from sale by the intermediary mortgage market and so
you will be unable to offer this product from this date.
This decision has been made after carefully
considering our position in the current market alongside actions
already taken by other product providers in recent months.
The functionality will remain to support
pipeline cases where applications have been submitted before 21st
March 2010.
It will not be possible to complete an
application and request a quotation after 12am on Saturday
20th March.
Payments commission will be unaffected and
paid in the usual way for policies confirmed prior to 21 March
2010.
